Yep Today's mac patch didn't help the problem. Can not play EVE at all on my iMac running 10.7.5. Works a little slow but ok on my brand new iMac running Maverick. Hope losses will be covered by CCP

I had the same problem with my 2010 iMac. You HAVE to run the fans higher or you WILL burn out your video card. You can also download the iStats software to set fan speeds and put internal temps up in your menu bar.
